About Us
Our female Shar-peis are fantastic mothers we take pride in keeping the mommies happy so that they will in turn provide all that is necessary to keep their babies happy.  We are defiantly dog lovers, and need our puppies to go to dog lovers as well.  Our puppies will have their updated shots, be potty trained, and have their eyes tacked as needed.  All you will have to do is show these precious little puppies the love that they deserve.
We live in Belvidere, IL in a home that has lots of room for our puppies to grow in. We provide warm home environment so that they will arrive to their new homes feeling confident in caring for their new families.  Our mommies have a great temperament they are use to be around children (and even let the kids dress them up).  They love to be near you and love lots of attention.  But do not fear they will protect their family if need be.
Give Your New Puppy What They Need!!!!

1. Love
The most important thing you can give to your new puppy is love. Dogs have an uncanny way of knowing how you feel about them, and that seems to be an emotion they are familiar with and are able to sense easily. If you give your dog love, they will return it to you ten fold.
Dogs absolutely need love to thrive. If you find out that the situation with your new Shar Pei puppy isn’t working out for one reason or another, give them to someone who is better suited. There is no shame in giving your puppy to a home where they will be loved and cared for, as it is the most humane thing to do.
2. Attention
Secondly, your puppy needs attention. Sometimes it may seem as though your puppy needs constant attention
87% of all dogs DIE way too early because of the food they are fed. Find out how to STOP this happening to your Shar Pei!
and you can’t get anything done without them nipping at your heels, but the only way to get them to stop is by paying them attention. If you find that your puppy is misbehaving and vying for your attention, you can give them a toy to chew on by your side so that they still feel secure, but you are able to get done what you need.
3. Care
Your puppy also needs your care in general. Puppies cannot fend for themselves, and thus they need you to care for them. They need you to feed them, bathe them, teach them how to behave, and teach them how to get along when you’re not able to attend to them. While puppies have natural canine instincts, they learn from you about many things, so you need to spend time with them, especially in their developmental days.
4. Patience
Patience is a virtue, and new puppies require a lot of patience. Sometimes, puppies can be trying on one’s patience, but remember that they won’t be a puppy for long. As puppies grow into dogs, they become calmer and better behaved, and don’t require as much patience.
Why We Love Shar-pei's
.Shar-pei are focused on their owners. Their life revolves around you. They are finely tuned to your moods and adjust themselves to your needs, but they are individuals and some are more laid back, while others are more outgoing and active. Getting started with a Shar-pei that suits your personality and lifestyle will make the best foundation for your future. If you are considering the purchase of a Shar-pei, tell breeders honestly what you would like in a dog. Reputable breeders will give you sound advice and are able to help you select a dog from their breeding program that will suit you.

Hi -
I just wanted to let you know that 'Scooby' is doing great!  She has been really great about potty training and is already quite the guard dog.  When we come home or family comes over she is right there barking at them!  She is just starting to show her toys who's boss(it's so cute to watch)!  But more than anything loves to nap on us!  Of course we have taken several pictures already, I will send you some as she changes and grows.

Thank you we just love our wrinkly puppy!
Corrina :)

Hi
Puppy is doing great. she slept all the way home except for about 15 minutes where she was looking out the window.. the kids are in love with her. my brother has one of our pups from the second litter and is head over heels with her, his boys love her and she was kissing them all nite. she is so good and so far has had no accidents in the house.

Thanks, Leanne
Hello,
We have all been enjoying the break in the weather (FINALLY!)  especially Neelah (formerly Scooby).  She is so much bigger than the last pictures I sent you, and she is in a growth spurt again!  She is really such a good dog - we are very happy with her and her personality.  It's amazing what a little guard dog she wants to be.  We leave her out when we are gone (well not for Full days yet), and until just recently when we would come home she would be barking and running away!  In fact she would run to our room and hide in the shower behind the curtain!!  Still barking and growling however!!  She is really good with people when they come over and with other dogs though.  And of course her favorite hobby is still napping on her bed, or the cat's bed, or the couch whatever is closest at the time!  We have also gotten many complements on her and what a quality Shar Pei she is!  Kudos!  :)

Just thought I would send you some new pictures since she has changed so much and let you know how much we enjoy her!

Hello,
I just thought I would send a couple photo's of Neelah, now that she has really come into her own.  She is about 18" at the withers and around 40lbs.  She is very strong and happy.  I have never had a dog with a personality quite like this, almost like she tries to do what we do.  My poor husband loves the dog, and though she loves him and it shows - she is definitely my dog.  No matter where I go she is with me, and tries to protect me from everything!  I had to be in the hospital for a couple days over the summer, Neelah actually refused to eat!  She would not even sleep on her bed (in our room), she waited by the garage door until I returned.  She would not be distracted by anything (toys, food, the cat, etc.).   It's good I wasn't gone longer than that!  The loyalty and loving bonds these dogs form are amazing!  Needless to say, we love her very much and are truly happier with her in our lives.  So THANK YOU!  For breeding such a health, happy, and all around great dog!

I hope you family is happy and healthy this holiday!  Have a wonderful 2010!

London (boo boo) is doing great. She is a wonderful puppy, loves to cuddle in bed at night, just very hyper. Think that she wont be as hyper when she gets alittle older. Everyone loves her so much. Ill let everyone know her mom is having another litter, when I got her everyone wondered where they could get such a wonderful companion. Hope you don't miss her too much, and enjoy the rest of your memorial holiday :)

Hi Norma,

Yes, Kirin is doing great, I could not be happier with her.  She is a very playful puppy who is looking forward to the warmer weather of summer....she always wants to be outside now and smells everything.  She still seems like she could grow some more, but is in excellent overall shape.  Kirin has a best friend named Chloe and the two are near inseparable (both live with us).  The two dogs love to run and play and it seems like their batteries never stop.

Just wanted to say thanks for doing such a great job on potty training Travis. He's doing fine at his new home, and getting along fine with my dog. Adapt to his new food fairly quickly and very brave climbing up and down the stairs already without having me to push him. Here's some picture updates of him and he's schedule to see the vet this Weds. (see pics below)
